‘A step up from the Championship’ – Jonathan Rowe on transfer to Ligue 1

Over the summer season Jonathan Rowe (21) made the transfer from the Championship to Ligue 1 when he left Norwich Metropolis for Olympique de Marseille. 

The winger was requested to clarify the variations between the French league and the second tier of English soccer in a press convention held right now. “It’s a step up from the Championship,” Rowe said. “The Championship final season was very tough. There was plenty of high quality and it was unpredictable.” 

He continued, “Right here there’s extra high quality. There are greater gamers. And I’d say it’s even a bit extra bodily [in Ligue 1] and a bit extra technical. It’s a great way to check your self and it’s an excellent problem.” 

Rowe has impressed throughout his restricted minutes for the Marseille squad. The winger has been an efficient presence off the bench for his new membership and even received .
